Health Mandates

Mandates are a bridge to giving up your rights. Attempts were made to mandate masks and EXPERIMENTAL vaccines, even in the face of statistics and studies that refuted their necessity. How far will We the People bow to the imposition of these forceful, unconstitutional mandates? Our county and state health system failed us, and we need to do something about it.

Election Integrity

Democracy within the United States republic is in danger. Without a true and honest election, there essentially is no democracy, and the republic falls. I am in disbelief that so much evidence in the form of videos, affidavits, and ballot discovery has been ignored. And many of our government officials are spineless to act. Why is that? This needs to be fixed… maybe with a reset to hand ballots, hand counting, and hand tabulation and aggregation. What do you think?

Education

Schools are indoctrinating our children with messages that ought not be in a school setting. Is Critical Race Theory what we should be teaching our impressionable young children? Why are they being told they are either victim or oppressor? Sexually prurient books in school libraries are teaching our children that sex in any form is OK, and that it can even be done behind a parent's back. We need to get back to being about academics and history - not teaching our children about alternate gender desires, sexual perversion, and how to be racist.

Constitution First

The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America. Our founding fathers authored this excellent document "to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." This is my base of reasoning.

First Amendment Rights

Having no laws that respect a particular religion is a good thing, but that's different than suspending a child for sharing his faith on public school grounds. The right to speak freely is beautiful, until the government controls the media and "Big Tech", and the free speech is censored. The right to assemble to protest is encouraging, until there is a miscarriage of justice for peaceful protests and leniency for riotous ones. I will make sure that our first amendment rights remain protected and not misunderstood.

Second Amendment Rights

Some have this misconception that the Second Amendment GIVES us the right to bear arms. Let's be clear - we intrinsically have that right. The Second Amendment tells us that it "shall not be infringed". I believe that this right MUST be protected as the authors of the Constitution intended, to ensure personal safety, and as a check against potential tyranny.

Funding Our Sheriff

Supporting and funding law enforcement is critical for the safety and well being of the citizens. Experiments in defunding law enforcement have been disastrous in many communities. I stand behind our Kent County law enforcement and pledge to ensure our Sheriff department receives the financial resources and community support they need.

Pro-Life

I firmly believe that life starts at conception. Abortion is a tragic choice that takes the life of the unborn child, and potentially affects the the mother psychologically for life. I vow to advocate for our most vulnerable citizens and be a voice for the voiceless.

Fiscal Responsibility

One of the primary responsibilities of a commissioner is fiscal responsibility. Are we asking the right questions about federal funds that we accept? Are we wisely spending the taxes we collect? Are we starting programs that make sense for our given community and needs? Are county roads getting attention? Is there frivolous spending? These are questions I am not afraid to ask.
